Yoke Leng Leong

Yoke Leng is a trainer, speaker, mentor, coach, writer and poet. She’s also a LKY Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School (2019), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) Master in Public Management alumnus and winner of the LKYSPP Case Writing (Merit) Award. Her case was on the CPF Investment Scheme.

She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, and in varied industries such as healthcare, education, real estate social security and finance. She has spoken on many topics such as public policies (and related topics such as retirement adequacy, dignified aging) and trained many on leadership, risk management, business continuity management, productivity/effectiveness, critical thinking skills, business writing and conversation skills. She has also chaired meetings with University Principals, Deans and faculty members (in Malaysia, China and Hong Kong) and heads of MNC where she represented her then employers and school (LKYSPP).

She speaks and writes fluently in prose and verse in English, Chinese and even dialect, Cantonese. She was the first and only one in her LKYSPP MPM class of 20 to be interviewed by LKYSPP for her outstanding contributions to the school and public healthcare. She continues to shine in her roles outside of work. She was appointed Secretary of the JTC Alumni Committee 3 months after joining as a Committee member. She is a mentor to executives and outstanding youths, including ASEAN scholars and students from ITE, junior colleges and Polytechnics. She was invited by NTUC to be an Every Worker Matters Conversations (EWMC) Ambassador at May Day Rally 2023 and made a one-minute pitch on Retirement Adequacy to the Prime Minister. And PM Lee asked all (who were present) to vote for Retirement Adequacy.
