Susan Lim

With close to three decades of experience spanning education, leadership, adult learning, facilitation and coaching, Susan has dedicated her career to helping people discover possibilities, build confidence and translate learning into meaningful action.

Her professional journey began in education, where she spent 20 years as an educator and school leader. She subsequently moved into adult learning and leadership development, working with leaders and professionals across industries including education, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, early childhood and the public sector.

Today, Susan facilitates leadership programmes, coaches leaders and professionals, and speaks on topics close to her heart: leadership, personal mastery, coaching, resilience, influence, learning through play, and the courage to grow through change.

Susan believes that learning should not end with “That was interesting.”

It should lead to: “What will I do differently?”

Her sessions are therefore highly experiential, reflective and participative. Rather than simply delivering content, Susan creates environments where participants can explore, experiment, play, reflect and make their own connections.

At the heart of Susan's work is her Dare-to-Try philosophy.

She believes courage does not always arrive before action. Very often, courage develops because we take the first step.

Susan's aspiration goes beyond delivering a great speech or workshop.

She wants people to leave asking themselves: “What possibility can I see now that I couldn't see before — and what am I willing to Dare to Try?”

Because to Susan, success is not only about what happens around us.

It is about who we become within us.

And sometimes, transformation begins with one surprisingly small decision: Dare to Try.
