Frank Koo

Frank Koo is a keynote speaker, trainer, executive coach and founder of Nextplay, a company dedicated to helping leaders and organizations thrive in the future of work.

He partners with senior executives and HR leaders to unlock deeper engagement, performance and purpose—by aligning work with what truly matters.

With a corporate career spanning leadership roles across global organizations, Frank was most recently Head of Asia at LinkedIn. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer at BE Education, President of Learning Solutions at Pearson, and Managing Director at Oracle for Singapore and South Asia Growth Economies. His leadership experience across technology, education and talent ecosystems gives him a unique perspective on how work, careers and organizations are evolving.

Frank’s work today focuses on two critical areas. First, he helps organizations build a more engaged and productive workforce by enabling employees to find meaning in their work. He developed the SPICE framework—Stimulation, Purpose, Income, Connection and Esteem—to help individuals and teams align personal drivers with organizational goals, leading to stronger motivation and sustainable performance.

Second, he supports senior leaders in navigating their next chapter—whether that involves career transitions, portfolio careers, entrepreneurship, or redefining success beyond traditional corporate roles.

Through his structured yet deeply reflective approach, leaders gain clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of direction in both their professional and personal lives.

Frank is also an active contributor to the leadership and HR community. He serves on the board of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) and is a member of the Committee for Nominating and Remuneration Committees at the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).
