Coen Tan

As a speech coach and communications trainer, Coen helps highly competent business leaders, professionals and educators express themselves compellingly so that they are seen, heard and respected. By working with his clients to uncover their personal stories, innate talents, and insights, they are able present themselves through narratives that influence and inspire others. Having emerged from a decade of depression, Coen brings his unique experiences, fresh perspectives and finely-honed skills to people he works with. The Founder of Ministry of Influence, a training and consulting firm, Coen has trained regionally and spoken in Singapore, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan, and has trained in English and Mandarin. His wide range of clients include AXA Insurance Singapore; Prudential Assurance Pte Ltd, Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck, Wacker, Lubrizol, CGG, Sime Darby, A*STAR, MINDEF, MHA, Nanyang Technological University, SHATEC, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Raffles Junior College, Hwa Chong Institution and dozens of other reputable organizations.

A Distinguished Toastmaster, Coen has achieved the Gold Distinction Award (Speaking in Public) by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
