Tina Altieri is a dynamic and engaging communicator who has earned great respect throughout her 20 years in the Australian broadcast news business. As a television presenter, Tina has developed exclusive results-oriented communication programs – including Presenting Yourself Powerfully – for leaders seeking the skills, strategies and confidence for powerful public presentations and effective communication.
Tina’s Mastering the Media program has helped professionals build powerful reputations. Leaders are fully equipped to confidently face lights, camera and microphones when the media comes calling. This customised program has helped many thousands of key opinion makers and thought leaders to master the confidence and skills needed to “perform” with conviction and credibility.
Over the past two decades Tina has provided coaching to an impressive list of senior professionals in banking and finance, pharmaceuticals professional services, tourism and travel, education and training, construction, media and politics.
Critical to her success as a public speaking trainer is Tina’s ability to dramatically enhance performance through a series of practical techniques. She conveys a thorough understanding of the process of precision communication and demonstrates how the ability to sell yourself and your ideas can be the difference between failure and success.
Tina commenced her career as a radio journalist at the age of 18 and shortly after became the youngest television newsreader in Australia at 19 years of age.
In 1992 Tina was promoted to be the anchor of Channel Nine’s weekday news, a position she had held for well over a decade. In December 2002 Tina was offered to anchor news bulletins for Sky News in Sydney, which is broadcast throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2003 Tina was invited by Singapore-based MediaCorp as a guest presenter for its evening news bulletins. She was also engaged to train television journalists and presenters in presentation techniques for Channel NewsAsia.
In 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002 Tina was voted one of Australia’s leading television Newsreaders in the Clear Speech Awards.
Tina has become one of the most sought after professional speakers and trainers in the region. Singapore Business Review voted Tina as Singapore’s “Top 10 Most Influential Speakers” in 2013.

“Quite simply, Tina is one of the best speakers we’ve ever worked with at the ICCA Congress. In fact, “speaker” is entirely the wrong description: Tina is an expert meetings content and format designer, delegate psychologist, creative thinker, and communication genius. At each event where we’ve collaborated, she has designed and delivered some of the most highly-rated sessions, winning over our toughest audiences in the process. Not only will we be regularly working with Tina in the future, I have not the slightest hesitation in recommending her to any other organisation that is looking for high-level leadership and communication consultancy, training, Board facilitation, or conference input, all of which will be delivered witha constant smile and the utmost professionalism.”
Martin Sirk, CEO, ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association)
“It has been a wonderful experience working with Tina since the beginning of 2010. She has consistently delivered the key insights of important business presentations to my Asia Pacific management team and brand teams, and worked with them around key message delivery and bridging techniques. Tina is a reliable partner who is always willing to go that extra mile to add value to any organisation.”

“I wish I could have started working with Tina at MAX Communicate years ago. I have had the pleasure of working with Tina over the past 12 months. During that time, Tina has made an amazing impact in both my presentation style as well as the way I prepare – what an amazing person and mentor.”
