Creativity, EQ, negotiation, and stress management are the main topics Michael have been speaking both in Singapore and in the region for the last 20 years. Michael holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from National University of Singapore and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Sydney and Graduate Diploma (Training and Development) from Civil Service College. He’s currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Professional Education (Training and Development) with Nanyang Technological University. Michael is an associate faculty with SIM University and UPH Indonesia. He’s an associate trainer with Nanyang Technological University, NUS Extension, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Singapore Institute of Management. Michael is a certified trainer with American Board of NLP, American Management Association, 6 Seconds EQ, Center for Body Language and Louis Allen Leadership Program. An Associate Certified Coach with International Coaching Federation, he is also an IACT stress management consultant, NGH hypnotherapist, Laughter Yoga instructor and an Advanced Toastmaster Gold. Some of his illustrious clients are Philips, Keppel, Roche, Ricoh, Pepper & Fuchs, Daimler Chrysler, Foxboro, Fujitsu, Samsung, Toyota and the Singapore Government. Prior to setting up his own business, Michael was working in finance and marketing with Chase Manhattan Bank, NCR and Singer. A wordsmith in his spare time, Michael is the bestselling author of ‘I Once Wore Diapers’, ‘Who Broke My Rice Bowl?’, ‘From Beggars to Millionaires’ and ‘Make The World Your Oyster!’. His books are translated into Malay and Korean. He is a regular contributor in management to Recruit, Straits Times. In recognition of his selfless social contribution for his free workshop amongst mid-life retrenched workers, he was awarded ABC True Hero 2003, a social enterprise award.
