Surprise Slide Show Spontaneous Speaking Session

This was the first time APSS had such a session and it was 100% fun! It was our own version of the ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ show, with Tim Wade being a fantastic host!

The objective of this session was simple. Members had to go up on stage and deliver an on-the-spot presentation while following a slideshow they had never seen before. It was like an impromptu speaking session with a twist! Tim had created four sets of slideshows, each with random images and text.

Four APSS members  - Agnes, Bob Mittlesdorf, Maria Kassova and Tim Hammons – volunteered happily.  Everyone did a fabulous job and had the entire audience laughing and asking for more. This session got the maximum laughs in the Humour Night. The speakers spoke on diverse topics ranging from ‘Three easy ways to be fit’ to ‘All about Seismology’.

All four volunteers did so well that it looked like they had prepared for the session. Hats off to them for participating and making the session so enjoyable!
