Global Speakers Federation (GSF)
In 1998, an international association (the International Federation for Professional Speakers) was formed to link all current and future national associations under an independent umbrella structure for increased collaboration, all with equal rights. In 2009, the name of the association was changed to Global Speakers Federation. The member nations are currently USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Germany, Holland, and France.
The GSF is a growing organisation, and APSS’s membership is your gateway to the worldwide speaking profession in local markets across distant lands. The GSF website at www.globalspeakers.net will help you access the speaking profession across borders, and support the development of our worldwide professional network.

Join the Global Speakers Network (GSN)
A membership benefit exclusively for the international speaker
The GSN is a network/community of professional speakers within GSF who speak internationally on a consistent basis. The purpose of the GSN is to create and encourage networking and idea-sharing opportunities for its members, specifically focused on issues of interest to those who speak internationally. By providing a forum for those actively engaged in speaking in countries other than their residence, critical and practical information can be shared in a timely manner. If you want to join the GSN you must:
- be a member of a GSF association (APSS is a GSF association)
- speak for a professional fee at a minimum of two times a year in two countries other than your country of residence
- be prepared to document your qualifications, should you be chosen for random audit, and
- agree not to use your membership in GSN as a designation or a marketing element
