Prof James Leong CSP

James Leong C. Foo is an international expert in simplifying complicated financial concepts to business people. He does it with humour and finesse, making his training memorable with funny stories, interesting anecdotes and unforgettable accounting mantras. Participants who are once fearful of numbers will have a complete mindshift about finance and emerge confident to tackle thick accounting reports- being able to separate wheat from chaff by being laser-focused on what key numbers to look for business insights. A Fellow Chartered Accountant, James also teaches at National University of Singapore’s Law School where he is an adjunct professor in accounting, empowering future legal eagles with financial analytical skills and commercial insights.

James has judged twice for the Singapore Corporate Awards, which gives out the Best Annual Report awards for public listed companies on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He also served on the executive board of the Securities Investors Association of Singapore for three terms and currently leads two of their popular fundamental investing courses for retail investors.

The Singapore Business review has featured James as one of ten influential professional speakers in Singapore. A Distinguished Toastmaster, James represented Singapore and emerged as Toastmasters International Pan Southeast Asia District Humour Champion.
